SundayClub ♥ Hair: Beachy Tousled Waves

You're probably all wondering what on earth SundayClub is! hah .. I live in a sea side town; South Shields to be precise [It's where the Great North Run ends, if any of you happen to watch on TV?] anyways back to the point! Because it's a seaside resort, we have quite a few nice pubs lining the sea front and they're a perfect place to have a few chilled drinks on a Sunday evening :) .. It's also buskers night and you always get some really good singers [I'm getting paid to say this by my friend James hehe] .. Nahhh he's actually really good!

So Sunday gone we all headed down there for our obligatory SundayClub 'gathering' and had a fabulous night, filled with copious amounts of Rosé :)

When looking through some of the photos which had been taken, I came across this one...

I've had quite a few comments from you lovelies asking me how I do my hair/how I create volume in my hair, so I thought when I came across this I'd do a quick post.

Basically, this was the Sunday night.. The previous night I showered as normal, towel dried my hair and then  simply sprayed some Aussie 'Dual Personality' texturising spray [Featured in my 100+ Followers Giveaway] all over it and then twisted it into a bun on top of my head and secured just with a bobble. The next day I wasn't doing anything other than applying some fake tan for the night, so I just left my hair up in the bun from the previous night. Once I was all ready to go out, I simply took out the bun, shook my head upside down to loosen off the curls and then spritzed it with a touch of hairspray. To add some volume to the back. I teased it a little with a tailcomb and picked out a few sections to backcomb.

Literally that was it! - This photo was taken nearer to the end of the night, and the waves had stayed put perfectly and looked even better as they were falling out...

This isn't the way I wear my hair everyday, but I just thought it might give you an idea as to how to achieve the 'must have' beach style waves for summer, without using a ton of product or lots of damaging heat!

If you'd like to see a post where I run through a step by step 'normal' hair routine; What products I use when blow drying and how I style my hair with lots of volume and natural waves [as seen in some of my FOTD posts] then just leave a comment below and I'll try and get that done asap!

Hope you're all having a *Fabulous Friday*
Much loveeee Xxx

  4. Thanks girls :)

@ Laura - I'm sure it would :) The spray really adds texture into your hair, making it easier to work with - You'll def end up with a wave through your hair, even if it's looser than this, it'll still look gorgeous for summer!

@ Alice Louise - Ahh well the way you've got to look at it is, if it's been 'dead' hair or split ends and now they're gone, it'll grow quicker meaning you'll end up with lovely conditioned 'beachy hair' by the time you get round to doing it hehe!

  9. Your hair looks so pretty! I might have to try out some of that spray. I didn't realise you were a North-Eastern lass! I'm from that neck of the woods and have some family in South Shields.
